laidback london was born out of the founder's desire to give back to the local communities where he grew up in Kenya. The label was launched with a line of handmade leather sandles made by local artisans along the coast of Kenya. As well as creating much-needed jobs, the company supports a number of charities in the area, particularly around health and education.Materials are sourced locally where possible and the company combines design innovation with traditional handcrafting techniques to create beautiful products using natural materials.
